Brightlingsea - Baby Massage (January)

Babies love to be touched and cuddled and thrive on skin to skin contact. Baby massage is a great way for both parents and babies from as early as 6-weeks old to experience not only a wonderful relaxing session together which aids bonding through the power of touch but is also recognised to benefit babies in numerous other ways.

Benefits for babies can include:

• Helping to develop babies first language
• Enhances their feeling of being loved, respected and secure
• Can help to strengthen and regulate their digestive, respiratory and circulatory systems
• Can relieve symptoms of colic, gas and constipation
• Calmed nervous system leads to more restful sleep
• Teaches babies how to be aware of their body’s tension and how to release it, an invaluable gift as they grow into adulthood.
