Strengthening Families Programme
Programme objectives are to:
- Help parents/carers learn nurturing skills that support their children
- Teach parents/carers how to effectively discipline and guide their young people
- Give young people a healthy future orientation and an increased appreciation of their parents/carers
- Teach young people skills for dealing with stress and peer pressure

BEST Coffee Mornings
Mondays - The School House, Spring Meadow Primary School - 9:00a.m. - 11:00 a.m.
Wednesdays - Teentalk Offices, Harwich - 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
Thursdays - Park Pavillion, Barrack Lane, Harwich - 9:15 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.
The sessions are open to all parents and there is free tea, coffee and biscuits. Guest speakers regularly attend to support parents. These have ranged from Anglia Autism, Educational Psychologist on Social stories to the Quit Smoking Nurse.
